Can you think of a better place for a boy than hiking through the forest? Over the 4th we spent a week and a half in our woods in Colorado. Exploring abandoned mines, gold panning, 4-wheeling, hiking, campfires, wild flowers…. it just doesn’t get any better. Jonathan and I packed a lunch and…

Once upon a time…
Sitting at the kitchen table I slowly, traced my fingers across the page carefully sounding out each word. I was reading! I was five years old. Was it hours? Was it moments? Time stood still for me then. A whole world opened for me that afternoon when I first broke through the code of the written word. The World of Storytelling! From that moment I have been obessed by reading.
Yes, I did read by flashlight under my covers. When my father would come to confiscate the flashlight in the wee hours I obediently handed it over only to wait a few moments, and pull out another. Why sleep when one can read?
At the age of 12 a new world of Storytelling was introduced to me... Photography. When the shutter clicks time again stands still for me. Possibilities of adventure, new worlds, experiences, visions beckon.
Everyone has a story to tell. This is mine.
